Commonwealth Polo Club
One of the Bluegrass region's newest polo clubs is operated by Jorge Vasquez and Juan Valerdi. A native of Chile, Vasquez has played polo all over the world, but he swears nothing can beat a Kentucky sunset. Valerdi grew up playing polo and raising polo ponies in Argentina, a passion he can sum up in one sentence: “I love what I do.”

Kentucky Horse Park
Since 1978, Kentucky Horse Park has been open to the public as the world’s only park dedicated to man’s relationship to the horse. Working here not only requires an extreme knowledge and love of horses, but also an innate ability to communicate and connect with visitors from all walks of life. Even though employees don’t own the horse at the park, they feel all of the responsibility and joy of taking care of them.
